Victoria International Airport (YYJ) Recognized with Prestigious Customer Service Award
Victoria International Airport’s (YYJ) commitment to providing excellent customer service has earned it the prestigious Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) 2024 Award for Best Airport under 2 Million Passengers in North America.

This is YYJ’s fourth time being recognized by ACI after earning honours in 2012, 2014 and 2020. Launched in 2006, the ACI ASQ initiative is unique as the airport industry’s only global benchmarking program measuring customer satisfaction while passengers are at the airport. Implemented at over 400 airports worldwide, the ASQ program delivers an in-depth assessment of the quality of the customer service experience and allows for a comprehensive analysis of the experience at each airport. 2024 marked a milestone for the ASQ program, with almost 700,000 surveys completed and over half of the world’s travellers passing through an ASQ-rated airport.
The ASQ Awards are based on the aviation industry’s most comprehensive and trusted global measurement program for airport experience.
“The ASQ customer satisfaction benchmarking program measures all touchpoints of the airport journey including airport ambience, efficiency and courtesy of staff, security screening processes, overall cleanliness, and food and beverage and retail outlets. Without the efforts of our airport community – airline partners, screening officers, security team, restaurant and retail staff, car rental companies, custodians, volunteers and so many others, this award would not have been possible,” said Brown.
Victoria International Airport will be officially recognized for this significant achievement at the ACI World Airport Experience Summit in Guangzhou, China in September 2025.
