Incident Update – Victoria International Airport (YYJ)

Victoria International Airport (YYJ) can confirm that the earlier incident involving an aircraft operated by the Victoria Flying Club has been safely resolved. The aircraft has landed and the individual involved has been apprehended by the RCMP.

We thank the RCMP, NAV CANADA, the Victoria Flying Club, and our on-site teams for their coordinated response. Flight operations at YYJ have returned to normal. Passengers are encouraged to check with their airlines for the latest updates.

As this remains an active investigation, we will not be providing further comment at this time.
