Update December 12, 2025: Construction completion is expected in early 2026 with opening anticipated March 1, 2026. When complete, construction of a stand-alone restaurant will begin.

Update April 4, 2024: Victoria Airport Authority is pleased to announce that it has approved the Kothari Group’s hotel proposal for a 129-room TownePlace Suites by Marriott.

Intended as the region’s first extended stay hotel, the 3-storey all-suite hotel will feature a combination of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens, a fitness centre, swimming pool, and 1,500 square feet of meeting space.  The development will also include a full-service restaurant, with the brand expected to be announced in the coming months.

Activity will begin onsite in the spring of 2024 to prepare for the start of construction, which is expected to be completed in 2026.
