BC Transit

Victoria International Airport is served by BC Transit with up to 28 departures to and from YYJ and the McTavish Transit Exchange with several connections to Swartz Bay, the Saanich Peninsula, and downtown Victoria.

BC Transit Trip Planner (Applicable Route Numbers: 70, 72, 87 and 88)

$2.50 one bus, Sidney and Saanichton. The fare for most of Greater Victoria and departure from YYJ to downtown is $5.00.
LUGGAGE: Oversize luggage and backpacks can be difficult to accommodate. For your personal safety, please place your bags on your lap or on the floor where it will not obstruct the aisle way or other customers.
On regular buses, bike rack use is available anytime.

Accessible transportation services are available for accessible passengers. This includes passengers travelling with power wheelchairs or mobility scooters. An advance reservation (of at least 1 hour) is recommended.

PRE-BOOKED TAXI PICK-UP

Guests may pre-book an airport pick-up with any of the taxi companies serving the Greater Victoria area. The pick-up zone is located along the Short Term Lot curb across from the arrivals terminal exit doors.

CAR RENTALS

Victoria International Airport is served by five on-airport rental car companies with counters located in the arrivals area directly across from the Information Desk.

Off-airport rental car operators do not have counters at the Victoria International Airport. Pick-up needs to be pre-arranged at the time of booking. The off-airport customer pick-up area is located across the crosswalk at the arrivals end of the terminal building.
