Community Engagement

At YYJ, we’re all about connecting.  Whether it’s place to place, or people to people, connecting defines what an airport is and what it does best.   Although it can be as simple as sharing cool places to check out in the area for newcomers to Vancouver Island or supporting a local event or food drive, connecting means reaching beyond the limits of the airport property.  Connecting establishes partnerships with surrounding communities to help foster informed actions, strengthen relationships and evoke positive change.
