Government of Canada to remove COVID-19 border and travel measures effective October 1, 2022
Effective October 1st, all border measures will be lifted for travel to Canada. Travellers, regardless of citizenship, will no longer be required to:
- Provide proof of vaccination
- undergo pre-departure or on-arrival COVID testing
- undergo COVID-related quarantine or isolation
- monitor or report any COVID-19 symptoms upon entry
- submit public health info to ArriveCAN
- wear a mask on planes
- undergo health checks before boarding flights
Travellers are strongly recommended to wear high-quality and well-fitted masks during their journeys.
