Woolly Sunflower (Eriophyllum lanatum)
Woolly Sunflower is a drought-tolerant perennial that blooms from May to August, producing yellow daisy-like flowers. It thrives in dry, rocky or sandy soils in open, full sun locations. The plant is an important nectar source for bees, butterflies and other pollinators, and its seeds are eaten by birds. The woolly texture of the leaves makes it deer resistant and helps conserve water in dry conditions.
