Visit our community pollinator garden, a place to learn, play, and celebrate the biodiversity of native plants and pollinator species! At the garden, you are on the traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ people, who have stewarded this area since time immemorial and whose relationship with the land continues to teach and inspire us to this day.
This garden, installed in 2022, was designed to contribute to regenerating the culturally significant Garry oak ecosystem that once thrived on YYJ lands. Watch the garden change throughout the season. In the summer, look out for bees and butterflies flitting from flower to flower. In the winter, tread softly as pollinators lay dormant among leaf debris, logs, and underground nests. View our garden guide to learn more about the native plant species you can find throughout the garden space. Enjoy!
