Ride-hailing company Lucky to Go begins serving Victoria International Airport (YYJ)
Lucky to Go is a fully licensed ride-hailing company and the first authorized provider of Ride App services at Victoria International Airport (YYJ).
“We are thrilled to be the first ride-hailing company to serve Victoria International Airport and commit to providing a safe, reliable and economical mode of ground transportation to the public,” said Mandeep Rana, Founder, LTG Technologies Ltd.
“The airport is pleased to welcome Lucky to Go as YYJ’s first provider of ride-hailing services,” said Rod Hunchak, Director, Business Development and Community Relations, Victoria Airport Authority. “As air travel continues to rebound and we see more passengers at YYJ, we are excited to offer new ground transportation options for travellers.”
Lucky to Go currently operates in the cities of Kelowna and Victoria and have plans to start serving Metro Vancouver soon.
To hail a ride, download the Lucky to Go Ride & Delivery app at www.luckytogocanada.com, Google Play or the Apple App Store, enter your destination, view your estimated fare and pay securely. Riders can choose their vehicle type, track their driver in real-time and receive digital receipts. Rides can also be booked on the company’s website if a customer does not have a smartphone.
When ride-hailing, passengers can choose to pool-share and share a ride with up to two other riders on the route and split the cost or book a private car for the ride. Lucky to Go offers four and six-seat vehicle options.
At YYJ, passengers will find designated ride-hailing pick-up stalls along the curb in the Short Term parking lot. For drop-off, ride-hailing vehicles will use the same drop-off areas that taxis and other vehicles use.
